Manage rooms and the library

Two org-level pages, reachable from the sidebar, let you shape what everyone in your organization sees in the editor.

Rooms Manager

Open Rooms to control the New Show picker:

  • Default rooms: turn off any of the built-in room types your team doesn't use, so the picker only shows what's relevant. Hiding one doesn't touch shows already built on it.
  • Room templates: save any show's room as a reusable template, name and description included, with an optional preview and the option to include its placed gear. From the list you can rename, duplicate, delete, or start a new show straight from a template.

:::tip Templates travel with what they need A template carries its own custom, GDTF, and ShowKeep-placed gear along with it, so applying one to a new show never leaves a placed fixture without its definition. :::

Library Manager

Open Library, or click Manage beside the editor's Library header, to control what your gear library offers:

  • ShowKeep switches: turn the whole ShowKeep integration off for the editor, or restrict the library to ShowKeep items only, or let ShowKeep cases show up as placeable gear.
  • Per-item visibility: hide specific catalog items, custom items, or ShowKeep items from the library, the lighting wizard, and the Owned pane. Anything already placed keeps working; hiding an item only stops new placements.
  • Custom items: create, edit, and remove your org's custom gear, available on every plan. See Place gear from the library.

Both managers are available to any member of your org, not just admins, so your team can keep the library and room list tidy without needing account-level access.
