Export and CSV
ShowBill gives you two ways to get your invoicing data out: a branded PDF for one document, and a CSV of your whole list for your books.
Download a branded PDF
Open any invoice or estimate and select PDF. It opens a document built from your business letterhead, set in Settings: your business name, address, email, and phone, followed by the client's billing details, the line items, and the totals. It is available on every tier, including Free.
On Free, the PDF carries a small "Made with ShowBill" footer. Upgrading to Pro removes it, so the document carries only your own branding.
Export your invoice list as CSV
From the Invoices or Estimates list, select Export CSV. It downloads a spreadsheet of the list you are looking at, so if you have filtered by status first, the export matches what is on screen.
Each row covers one document: number, status, client name, client company, issue date, due date, currency, and total. That is enough to reconcile against your books or hand to a bookkeeper without opening ShowBill.
CSV export is a Pro feature. On Free, the Export CSV button is visible but marked Pro until you upgrade.
:::tip Filenames
Exports are named by the date you download them, for example invoices-20260907.csv, so you can keep a dated trail of exports if you pull one every month.
