Turn a plot or a job into an invoice

The last step of a show is getting paid. ShowBill can start an invoice from a ShowPlot show or a ShowKeep job, so you are not retyping the gear list a third time.

From ShowKeep (with pricing)​

A ShowKeep job already knows the rental math. Sending it to ShowBill creates an invoice where each line is priced by its day rate times the rental days, with a note that shows how the number was reached, for example "$500.00/day x 3 days". You review, adjust, and send.

This is the most complete handoff, because the money already exists on the ShowKeep side.

From ShowPlot (unpriced)​

ShowPlot does not carry prices, so sending a show to ShowBill creates an invoice with all the lines in place but no amounts. You price the lines in ShowBill. This is handy when the drawing is the most complete list of what the client is getting.

If you send something that has no prices of its own but is linked to an app that does, ShowBill follows the link and pulls the priced version. For example, a show linked to a priced ShowKeep job can produce a priced invoice, because ShowBill reads the job through the link.

Keeping the invoice in step​

Like every send, the invoice stays linked to its source. If the show or job changes later, ShowBill shows a "changed in..." banner so you can pull the update before you send the final bill.
